Партийным кандидатом на пост президента США на выборах в ноябре большинство членов Демократической партии видят Хиллари Клинтон, а не Берни Сандерса. Об этом говорят результаты опроса, проведенного CNN/ORC, передает Лига.нет

В частности, 52% членов партии отдают предпочтение Клинтон. Ее основной соперник Сандерс набрал 38%, тогда как поддержка третьего кандидата от демократов Мартина О'Мэлли находится на уровне всего 2%. 

Как видно по итоговым цифрам исследования, Клинтон лучше Сандерса разбирается в проблемах внешней политики. Сандерс опередил конкурентку по таким вопросам, как экономика, здравоохранение и свободный оборот оружия.

Напомним, в декабрьском соцопросе по заказу The Washington Post выяснилось, что за Дональда Трампа готовы проголосовать 38% опрошенных сторонников республиканцев, причем он почти втрое опережает ближайшего конкурента - техасского сенатора Теда Круза.   

Праймериз - тип голосования, при котором выбирается единый кандидат от политической партии. Между выбранными кандидатами затем проходит обычное голосование. Смысл праймериз состоит в том, чтобы кандидаты от одной партии не "отбирали" друг у друга голоса в основных выборах, так как их электорат обычно близок.
