Президент Росії Володимир Путін жартома заявив, що держсектретар США Рекс Тіллерсон потрапив у погану компанію і відмовляється від співпраці.

Про це Путін заявив на пленарному засіданні економічного форуму у Владивостоку, передає Главком із посиланням на Reuters.

«Ми нагородили пана Тіллерсона Орденом Дружби, але він, здається, потрапив у погану компанію та рухається в іншому напрямку», - зазначив президент Росії.

«Я сподіваюся, що вітер співпраці, дружби та взаємності в кінцевому підсумку поставить його на вірний шлях», - додав Путін.

У 2013 році Путін присудив Тіллерсону, тодішньому генеральному директору енергетичного гіганта Exxon Mobil, російську державну нагороду Орден Дружби, за його «значний внесок у зміцнення співпраці в енергетичному секторі».

У серпні цього  року Рекс Тіллерсон не виключив, що у майбутньому відносини між США та Росією можуть погіршитися ще більше.
