Кандидат в президенты США Хиллари Клинтон выиграла предварительные выборы Демократической партии, которые прошли в штате Южная Каролина.

Об этом сообщает The New York Times.

По результатам подсчета голосов Клинтон набрала 73,5%, опередив своего главного соперника Берни Сандерса, который сумел убедить 26% избирателей.

Это уже третья победа Клинтон в преддверии "супервторника" (1 марта), когда голосовать будут сразу 11 штатов. Ранее она выиграла первичные выборы в штатах Айова и Невада, Сандерс победил лишь в Нью-Гэмпшире.

Напомним, неделей ранее в штате Южная Каролина на предварительных выборах кандидата в президенты среди представителей Республиканской партии победу одержал миллиардер Дональд Трамп, получив 32,5% голосов избирателей, сенатор Марко Рубио взял 22,5% и сенатор от Техаса Тед Круз - 22,3% голосов.
