Прессекретар Президента України Володимира Зеленського

У 2008 році закінчив факультет журналістики Київського національного університету ім. Тараса Шевченка.  

"Почалася моя робота на телебаченні з цікавості. Я хотів дізнатися, як побудований цей магічний світ TV. І, звісно, хотів побачити, як побудований звичайний світ. Саме телебачення дало таку можливість",  – розповів в одному з інтерв'ю Сергій Никифоров

2005 рік — кореспондент каналу К1.

2006 році - кореспондентом інформаційного каналу 24, котрий належить меру Львова Андрію Садовому.

2006 рік - кореспондентом міського криворізького телеканалу "Рудана"

У 2007−2011 роках - кореспондент телеканалу Перший національний.

У 2011 -2017  році -  працював в арабомовному підрозділі каналу Euronews. А вже за рік перейшов до головного офісу каналу та переїхав до Франції, де пропрацював до закриття  української служби Euronews 

З жовтня 2020 року- ведучий ранкового шоу Ранок чемпіонів разом із Талою Калатай "Україна 24", котрий наледжить олігарху Ринату Ахметову.

З  грудні 2019 року - ведучий новин на телеканалі "Україна 24"

Липень 2021 року - прессекретар Президента України Володимира Зеленського.  Новопризначений прессекретар президента Сергій Никифоров під час першого свого брифінгу розповів, що під час навчання їздив у групі підтримки команди КВК, в якій грав Володимир Зеленський.

 "Я працював в Кривому Розі буквально кілька місяців… це була вимушена літня практика. Я не співпрацював з Володимиром Зеленським, але тим не менше, в Кривому Розі я з ним перетинався, тому що, коли я ще навчався в школі це були місцеві зірки. Спочатку це була команда "Запоріжжя-Кривий Ріг-Транзит", потім це була команда "95 квартал" і кілька разів я їздив в групі підтримки… люди, які в залі підтримують, як і на спортивних змаганнях", - заявив Никфоров. Прессекретар додав, що в ті часи перетинався з Зеленським "побіжно" і запевнив, що президент не пам’ятає цього.

Судячи зі сторінки Сергія Никифорова в Instagram, у нього є двоє дітей. 


Старшого сина звати Марк. Він народився у 2017 році у Франції. Молодша донька з'явилася на світ не так давно – фото з нею Никифоров опублікував у червні 2020 року. На світлині дівчинці від сили кілька тижнів.

Скандали

У версні 2021року  речник Зеленського вразив соцмережі фотографією з Вашингтона  - на ній Никифоров, висолопивши язика, неначе тримає пальцями за кінчик Монумент Вашингтона.
