В сети появилось скандальное видео, в котором британская королева Елизавета II, будучи ребенком, демонстрирует нацистское приветствие.

В скандальном черно-белом ролике, попавшем в распоряжение редакции британской газеты The Sun, появляется британская королевская семья, включая Елизавету в возрасте 7 лет, ее мать, королеву Елизавету Ангелу Маргарет Боуз-Лайон, ее дядю принца Уэльского Эдуарда и сестру Маргарет. Видео датируется 1933 годом.

Публикацию видео с «зигующими» членами британской королевской семьи, появившегося в сети спустя 82 года после съемки, осудил Букингемский дворец, который в официальном заявлении сообщил, что ролик не отражает позицию королевы в вопросе о фашизме, а также акцентирует внимание на том, что, будучи ребенком, Елизавета не знала значения нацистского приветствия.

«Нас разочаровало, что фильм, снятый восемь десятилетий назад и взятый из личного семейного архива королевской семьи, был обнародован и использован таким образом», - цитирует представителей британской королевской семьи издание The Washington Post, передает Новое время

Отмечается, что Букингемский дворец начал расследование относительно того, как видеоролик, оскандалившийся на весь мир, попал в распоряжение редакции The Sun. Они намерены выяснить, была ли видеозапись украдена из королевского архива в Виндзорском дворце. Если предположения Букингемского дворца подтвердятся, британской газете придется столкнуться с судебным разбирательством.
