Черно-белое видео, на котором будущая королева Великобритании Елизавета II в шестилетнем возрасте вскидывает руку в нацистском приветствии. Судя по всему, ролик был снят в 1933 году в резиденции английских королей  в замке Балморал, пишет Главред

На видео представлена британская королевская семья: королева Елизавета Ангела Маргарет Боуз-Лайон (мать Елизаветы II), принц Уэльский Эдуард (ее дядя, будущий король Эдуард VIII), Елизавета и ее сестра Маргарет. Сначала девочки просто машут руками в камеру, затем все четверо демонстрируют нацистское приветствие

82 года спустя эта запись выглядит шокирующей, однако ее следует рассматривать в контексте 1933 года, пишет в комментарии к скриншотам с видео.

"Эдуард и группировка аристократов-антисемитов были в ужасе от коммунистической революции, своей смертоносной силой лишающей их власти и привилегий, как это было в России. Фашизм казался ответом", - утверждает издание.

Тем временем Букингемский дворец прокомментировал публикацию фильма, заявив, что "представители разочарованы тем, что запись 80-летней давности получена и эксплуатируется прессой".
