Социальная сеть Facebook начала тестировать публикацию новостей СМИ без гиперссылок, пишет The New York Times. Как отмечает газета, «деликатные» переговоры Facebook с издателями продолжались несколько месяцев. На сделку согласились девять компаний, в том числе NBC News и NYT, причем это произошло несмотря на опасения, что участие в проекте может в конечном счете негативно повлиять на их собственный бизнес, говорится в материале,передает Gazeta.ru 

Ранее сообщалось, что Facebook планирует начать размещение у себя новостей и видео BuzzFeed, National Geographic и других изданий. Главной особенностью этих публикаций станет то, что контент будет размещаться в Facebook целиком и без гиперссылок. Отмечалось, что для многих изданий ссылки на их контент в Facebook стали важным источником трафика, но время открытия таких ссылок на мобильных устройствах достигает 8 секунд и нередко разочаровывает пользователей.

Программа стартует с публикации нескольких статей, но как ожидается, проект быстро расширят. Как обещает Facebook, загрузка «мгновенного» контента будет в десять раз быстрее. Пока новый формат доступен в тестовом формате для пользователей iPhone.

К проекту присоединились пять американских СМИ, это BuzzFeed, National Geographic, The Atlantic, NBC News и NYT. По средам каждое издание будет публиковать в новом формате одну статью. В программе участвуют и четыре европейских СМИ: The Guardian, BBC News, Bild и Spiegel Online.
