Президент Сербії Александар Вучич 1 листопада розпустив парламент країни, призначивши дострокові загальні вибори та кілька місцевих виборів на 17 грудня. Про це повідомляють місцеві медіа 1 листопада.

У Вучича був час до 2 листопада, аби призначити вибори до 250-місцевої Національної асамблеї.

Місцеві вибори пройдуть приблизно в 60 муніципалітетах, в тому числі в столиці Белграді.

Попередні загальні вибори в Сербії відбулися в квітні 2022 року, наступні за графіком вибори до парламенту мали відбутися в 2026-му.
