Марина Томко перебуває у шлюбі. Інформація про її чоловіка і нащадків відсутня у відкритих джерелах.

Скандали

Марина Томко прославилася численними та абсурдними скандалами. ЗМІ широко розтиражували та ретельно обсмакували її подарунок шефу. На 40-річчя глави Мінінфраструктури Володимира Омеляна Марина Томко подарувала креативний торт, прикрашений руїнами Кремля. Ця акція підняла хвилю обурення на російському телебаченні і отримала схвальні відгуки в Україні

У 2018-му році Марина повідомила на своїй сторінці в Facebook, що невідомі обстріляли її квартиру. Зловмисники вистрілили в балконне вікно квартири. Варто відзначити, що київське житло Марини знаходиться на 20-му поверсі. Подія трапилася ввечері приблизно о 22:30. Куля пробила тільки зовнішнє скло склопакета. Ніхто не постраждав.

Марина Томко повідомила, що не хоче пов'язувати подію з професійною діяльністю. Вона також зазначила, що винесла ситуацію, що склалася, на публіку, щоб убезпечити себе і близьких від повторних нападів.

1 вересня 2021 року повідомила, що читатиме спецкурс для магістрів «Технології впливу в публічних комунікаціях» Інституту Міжнародних відносин КНУ імені Тараса Шевченка. Також повідомила, що  працювати зі студентами Національого університету «Києво-Могилянська Академія».
