1 січня Всеукраїнське об’єднання «Свобода» організовує в Києві смолоскипову ходу з нагоди 107-ої річниці від дня народження провідника Організації Українських Націоналістів Степана Бандери.

Як повідомили в прес-службі ВО «Свобода», традиційну щорічну ходу зі смолоскипами «проведуть вже вдесяте.

Учасники о 18:00 збираються в парку Тараса Шевченка в Києві, хода пройде центральними вулицями столиці й закінчиться урочистим вічем на майдані Незалежності.

Степан Бандера народився 1 січня 1909 року в селі Старий Угринів Калуського району на Івано-Франківщині. Загинув 15 жовтня 1959 року у Мюнхені від рук агента КДБ Богдана Сташинського.
