Таку думку в інтерв'ю The New York Times висловив сенатор-республіканець Мітт Ромні.

"Чи буде президент і далі грати роль в моїй партії? Я впевнений, що так. Я не знаю, чи буде він висуватися в 2024 році, але якщо буде, то я практично впевнений, що він виграє номінацію", — зазначив політик.

За його словами, у Трампа є "набагато більше впливу в партії, ніж у будь-кого".

Ромні підкреслив, що сам не голосуватиме за Трампа, як зробив це минулого разу.

Сам Дональд Трамп раніше заявив, що ще не готовий точно сказати, чи буде балотуватися в президенти в 2024 році.
