Помер народний артист України Віталій Білоножко. Йому було 70 років. Причини смерті поки невідомі. 

Трагічну звістку підтвердила Буринська міська рада на Сумщині, звідки родом артист.

Віталій Білоножко був кавалером орденів Ярослава Мудрого V ступеня, «За заслуги» III ступеня та «За заслуги» II ступеня.

Разом зі своєю дружиною, народною артисткою Світланою Білоножко, співак був засновником і організатором Міжнародного фестивалю родинної творчості «Мелодія двох сердець».
