Политическая сила, возглавляемая президентом Азербайджана Ильхамом Алиевым одержала победу на внеочередных парламентских выборах.

Об этом свидетельствуют данные экзитполов после закрытия участков, пишет Media.az.

Согласно их результатам, "Ени Азербайджан" ("Новый Азербайджан") получает в парламенте 69 мест, независимые кандидаты - 41.

Оставшиеся места распределены среди остальных политических сил.

 Правом голоса обладали 5 миллионов 329 тысяч 460 граждан страны. На 125 мест в парламенте претендовали 1314 кандидатов.

Кандидатуры 246 человек выдвинута 19 политическими партиями, 1057 - в индивидуальном порядке, 11 - инициативными группами. 79% зарегистрированных кандидатов составили мужчины, а 21% - женщины.

Выборы в милли меджлис проходят в Азербайджане каждые пять лет, в нем заседают 125 депутатов, избирающихся по мажоритарной системе.

Очередные выборы должны были пройти в ноябре 2020 года, однако в ноябре прошлого года партия "Новый Азербайджан", обладающая большинством в милли меджисе, инициировала роспуск парламента.
