Мер Києва та голова КМДА Віталій Кличко під час брифінгу 4 вересня підтвердив, що збирається балотуватися на пост мера знову під час наступних виборів мера столиці. 

"Я буду балотуватися на наступних виборах", - сказав він, додавши, що має багато незавершених проектів у столиці, які збирається реалізувати.

Кличко наголосив, що пов’язує своє майбутнє і майбутнє своїх дітей із Києвом.

"Я маю можливість жити у будь-якій країні. Німеччині, Сполучених Штатах. Я знаю, що таке європейські цінності, європейські стандарти життя. Такі ж самі стандарти життя я роблю в своєму місті", - додав він.

Відбутися вибори мера Києва мають 25 жовтня 2020 року.
