В столице России состоялось подписание соглашения о сотрудничестве между Фондом поддержки публичной дипломатии имени А.М. Горчакова и Фондом "Русский мир". Свои подписи под документом поставили исполнительный директор Фонда Горчакова Леонид Драчевский и исполнительный директор "Русского мира" Владимир Кочин, передает Росбалт.

Сотрудничество между этими организациями будет направлено на содействие консолидации российских соотечественников за рубежом вокруг основных внешнеполитических и дипломатических приоритетов РФ. Фонды поспособствуют сохранению культурных и духовных ценностей нашей страны в российской общине, внесут свой вклад в популяризацию этих ценностей за рубежом.

В планах сторон – поддержка зарубежных русскоязычных СМИ, формирование позитивного образа современной России в мире.

Комментируя подписание соглашения, Леонид Драчевский назвал очень важным продвижение русского языка, русской политической мысли. И в этой связи, на его взгляд, необходимо объединение усилий Фонда Горчакова и Фонда "Русский мир".

В свою очередь Владимир Кочин подтвердил значимость совместной работы двух организаций – инструментов "мягкой силы" в российской внешней политике.
