Севастопольская власть отказывается принимать участие в выборах президента Украины в мае.

Об этом заявил глава координационного совета по организации Севастопольского горуправления по обеспечению жизнедеятельности города Алексей Чалый 5 марта на встрече с ветеранским активом, сообщает севастопольский новостной порталForPost.

На вопрос о выборах президента Украины и референдуме о статусе Крыма Чалый заявил, что "Севастополь в выборах, навязанных нелегитимной властью, участвовать отказывается".

Говоря о социальных программах "Ветеран" и "Содействие", Чалый отметил, что сейчас Севастополь "старается сохранить все экономические взаимоотношения с Киевом – город по-прежнему платит налоги и ожидает такого же отношения от столицы". 

"Если же поступление средств из госбюджета нарушится, будут задействованы деньги "стабилизационного фонда", который наполняется благодаря пожертвованиям соотечественников не только из России, но и со всего мира", - сказал он.

Один из вопросов касался также гарантий военнослужащим, которые откажутся присягать "на верность народу Крыма". Чалый заявил, что приложит все усилия для того, чтобы не было никакого их "преследования и ущем
