В Хорватии в воскресенье прошел второй тур президентских выборов.

По данным местного центризбиркома, предварительные итоги голосования свидетельствуют о том, что в стране будет новый президент - социал-демократ Зоран Миланович. В 2011-2016 годах он возглавлял правительство Хорватии, при нем страна стала членом Европейского Союза. В 2007-2016 годах был лидером Социал-демократической партии Хорватии.

За Милановича проголосовали около 52,8% избирателей, за действующего президента Колинду Грабар-Китарович (занимала пост с 2015 года) - 47,2%.

В первом туре, который прошел 22 декабря, за Милановича проголосовали 29,5% избирателей, а за Грабар-Китарович - 26,7%.

Миланович будет пятым президентом Хорватии.
