Раніше повідомлялося, що російське відомство 14 листопада опублікувало в соцмережах "фотографії", які нібито демонстрували забезпечення США прикриття боєздатних загонів бойовиків «ІД» «для використання їх у просуванні американських інтересів на Близькому Сході». Проте в соцмережах звернули увагу, що одна з опублікованих Міноборони фотографій є скріншотом з мобільної гри «AC-130 Gunship Simulator: Special Ops Squadron».
