Исполняющий обязанности спикера нижней палаты парламента Бразилии Валдир Мараньяо аннулировал голосование об импичменте президента страны Дилмы Русеф.

Об этом сообщает бразильское агентство EBC.

Отмечается, что Мараньяо аннулировал результаты сессий 15–17 апреля по просьбе генерального прокурора Бразилии, который считает, что голосование проходило с нарушениями.

Русеф, которая занимает пост президента Бразилии с 2011 года, обвиняют в нарушении налогового законодательства и манипуляциях с государственным бюджетом во время ее избирательной кампании в 2014 году. Ее имя также фигурирует в расследовании коррупционных схем в крупнейшей бразильской нефтяной компании Petrobras, совет которой она возглавляла в 2003–2010 годах. 

В декабре 2015 года парламент Бразилии запустил процедуру импичмента в отношении Русеф. 17 апреля 2016 года за это решение проголосовала нижняя палата парламента, в середине мая голосование должно было состояться в верхней палате.
