Телеканал іномовлення Ukraine Today, що входить до групи «1+1 медіа», відтепер доступний для 2 млн домогосподарств у Великій Британії. Ukraine Today починає цілодобове мовлення у мережі Virgin TiVo, європейська категорія додатку Worldbox, повідомляє прес-служба каналу.

«Велика Британія завжди була однією з пріоритетних для нас країн, і ми довго працювали над запуском Ukraine Today у Virgin Media, - каже генеральний продюсер Ukraine Today: Тетяна Пушнова. - Для нас це велика перемога, адже провайдер надзвичайно вимогливий до контенту, технічних параметрів, та дуже вибірковий до тих каналів, котрі пропонує своїм глядачам. Але тепер ми впевнені, що понад 2 мільйона британських сімей побачать, що насправді відбувається в Україні».

Нагадаємо, що цього року Ukraine Today став доступним до перегляду у кабельних мережах Німеччини, Нідерландів, Бельгії та Іспанії. За даними прес-служби Ukraine Today, європейська аудиторія телеканалу в кабельних мережах наразі складає понад 15 млн домогосподарств, без урахування покриття супутника HotBird, котре складає понад 30 млн домогосподарств.

Також у липні Ukraine Today запустився в американській кабельній мережі MHz Networks (2 млн абонентів) у Вашингтоні, США.

Ukraine Today - мультиплатформний проект для міжнародної аудиторії, презентований у серпні 2014 року, який веде цілодобове інформаційне мовлення англійською мовою.
