Розробники компанії Facebook працюють над створенням додатка, який зможе надсилати сповіщення про свіжі новини безпосередньо на телефон користувача. Це дозволить Facebook посилити свої позиції на ринку новинних медіа, повідомляє Media Sapiens

Додаток дозволить користувачеві вибрати джерела, новини з яких його цікавлять, і задати теми, в рамках яких йому хотілося б отримувати свіжу інформацію. Після того, як додаток помітить новину, яка відповідає заданим параметрам, він надішле на телефон повідомлення, довжиною до 100 символів.

Всі повідомлення, які будуть розсилатися додатком від Facebook, будуть містити посилання на сайти, на яких опубліковано новину.

Раніше, на початку серпня, компанія Facebook запровадила на сайті соцмережі нову функцію, яка дозволяє бізнес-сторінкам відправляти особисті повідомлення користувачам.Тепер бізнес-компанії можуть вставити в повідомлення, яке з'явиться в стрічці новин користувачів, кнопку «відправити повідомлення», скориставшись якою, користувачі можуть зв'язатися з компанією в приватному порядку. Якщо ж користувач залишить коментар під записом, сама компанія може відправити йому особисте повідомлення.

Також нагадуємо, що у липні Facebook змінив дизайн іконки «Друзі». У новому варіанті схематичне зображення жінки винесено перед зображенням чоловіка, а також їм змінили зачіски.Ініціатором та розробником нового дизайну іконки «Друзі» стала менеджер з дизайну Кейтлін Віннер. Поштовхом до змін стало відкриття, що на старому зображенні жінка не мала повноцінного плеча.
