Google долучилась до кампанії боротьби з так званою "порнопомстою".

Про це йдеться у її офіційному блозі, пише ТСН з посиланням на CNN.

Відомо чимало історій про те, які проблеми виникають через помсту в мережі. Колишні партнери викладають принизливі зображення. Мають місце випадки, коли вкрадені з аккаунтів фотографії відправляють на сайти, де їм додають сексуального підтексту.

За видалення зображень такі сайти вимагають грошей, йдеться у повідомленні Google. Нерідко, зображення супроводжуються особистими даними: іменами, адресами, посиланнями на аккаунт особи у соцмережах.

Раніше до боротьби з провокаційним контентом також долучились Facebook і Twitter, повідомляє CNN.

Наступного тижня Google розмістить web-форму, за допомогою якої користувачі, відносно яких були вчинена "порнопомста", зможуть надати компанії посилання на ресурси з зображеннями.  Після цього вони не будуть відображатись у результатах пошуку.

"Ми не зможемо зовсім зняти проблему, адже не в силах прибрати зображення з сайтів їх власників. Натомість, сподіваємось, хоч би таким чином допомогти людям захистити репутацію", - йдеться в повідомленні Google.
