В городе Хэйворд местные власти установили несколько необычных дорожных знаков, один из которых предупреждает пешеходов, на ходу обновляющих Facebook на своем смартфоне.

По словам представителей городской администрации города Хэйворда, обычные запрещающие или предупреждающие знаки перестали работать эффективно. Они больше не привлекают внимания ни водителей, ни пешеходов, которые считают их скорее информационно-рекомендательными, чем обязательными к исполнению,пишетSostav

Для исправления ситуации власти придумали несколько дорожных знаков с оригинальными сообщениями. В одном из них водителю сообщается, что лимит скорости в 30 миль в час – это «ограничение, а не предположение», в другом поясняется, что при съезде под уклон нужно использовать «глаза, тормоза и мозг», третий знак гласит «Сначала перейди улицу, а потом проверяй Facebook». Пока Facebook-зависимые участники дорожного движения отзываются крайне положительно о нововведениях.
