Однак, коли збиралася зробити спільний знімок з «Міс Японією» та «Міс Словенією», «Міс Ізраїль» несподівано застрибнула в кадр, зробила селфі та виклала у соціальних медіа. Селі Гріге також висловилася, що досі сподівається на підтримку від своїх співвітчизників.

Маталон була менш «примирливою», зазначає NBC News. Вона опублікувала статтю про це фото у Facebook та Instagram. Учасниця заявила, що «ситуація не здивувала її, але засмутила». Дівчина також висловила думку, що на час тритижневого конкурсу про ворожість слід забути.
