Президент США Дональд Трамп поверил президенту России Владимиру Путину, который заверил американского лидера в том, что КНДР не обладает ракетами, способными достичь территории США.

Об этом заявил бывший исполняющий обязанности директора ФБР Эндрю Маккейб в интервью телекомпании CBS, опубликованном в воскресенье, 17 февраля.

"Президент Трамп заявил, что он не верит в наличие у КНДР возможностей нанести удар по США с помощью баллистических ракет. Он не верил в это, потому что президент Путин сказал ему, что у них их нет. Президент Путин сказал ему, что у КНДР на самом деле нет таких ракет", - утверждает Маккейб.

Уточняется, что Трамп не поверил ни одному из отчетов американской разведки, сказав, что все равно верит Путину.

"Сотрудники разведывательных служб на брифинге (в Белом доме) заявили, что это не соответствует данным ни одного из отчетов разведки, на что президент ответил: "Мне все равно, я верю Путину", – добавил бывший и. о. главы ФБР.
