"Це огидно! Жахливі новини! Америку руйнують прямо на наших очах. Це якою ж аморальною свинею треба бути, щоб зробити таке", - написала співачка у Twitter.

Судячи з усього, співачку, яка емігрувала у 16 років в США з Барбадосу, обурив підписаний Трампом указ про посилення міграційного законодавства.

Нагадаємо, що 27 січня президент США Дональд Трамп підписав указ, згідно з яким на 90 днів забороняється в'їзд в США для громадян Іраку, Ірану, Сирії, Судану, Ємену, Лівії та Сомалі. Заборона на в'їзд поширюється також на власників грін-карт, що дають право на проживання в США.

Міжнародні IT-компанії, вчені, світові лідери і ООН засудили імміграційне рішення Трампа.

28 січня Федеральний окружний суд Нью-Йоркапризупинив дію указу Трампа про іммігрантів, постановивши не депортувати громадян, які прибули в США за чинною американською візою.
