Российский журналист Павел Прянников на сайте компании ЗАО "НИИФИ и ВТ" обнаружил внешний накопитель объемом 50 мегабайт, весом 25 килограммов и стоимостью 3,8 миллиона рублей (1 406 000 гривен).

В описании жесткого диска указано, что ВНД-2.05 (так называется этот металлический блок) предназначен для хранения информации объемом до 50 мегабайт. Габариты его составляют 0,5х0,25х0,38 метра.

В 2014 году на портале "Конкурсные торги" продукт был оценен в сумму 3,8 миллиона рублей, пишет Новое время.

Некоторые пользователи заметили, что ЗАО "НИИФИ и ВТ" занимается разработками в сфере военных технологий и диск ВНД-2.05 может обладать особыми характеристиками, однако они на сайте производителя не указаны.

    В 1976 году нЕкто Биленко-военный лётчик, угнал в Японию МиГ-25, чем нанёс огромный урон. В чём же был урон? Все увидели, что масса МиГа была намного больше (стальной корпус, аппаратура была ещё на лампах и даже использовались электромагнитные шаговые искатели) й, чем его оценочная масса и соответственно, те параметры, которые приписывались этому самолёту, на самом деле для него были недостижимы. Весь урон состоял в том, что был развеян миф о высочайших параметрах самолёта. Так и с этим гробом-диском.
