Коли депутат Джон Роуз з Республіканської партії підійшов до трибуни Палати представників та розкритикував засудження Дональда Трампа, вже через кілька секунд втратив увагу аудиторії.

Його 6-річний син Гай нахилився ближче в об’єктив камери і почав посміхатися, сидячи позаду батька. Коли Роуз назвав Трампа жертвою «політично мотивованого» звинувачення, Гай з широко розкритими очима висолопив язика і похитав головою.

Відео з промовою Роуза і витівками Гая було переглянуто понад 4 млн разів у соціальних мережах і стало головною подією в дискусіях того дня.

 

Роуз сказав, що перед промовою попросив Гая посміхнутися в камеру для свого 3-річного брата Сема, який дивився трансляцію. Приблизно через 30 секунд після того, як батько представив глядачам свою промову, Гай нахилив голову праворуч, посміхнувся, а потім склав руки у вигляді букв «S», «A» і «M».
