На турнире Большого шлема US Open в Нью-Йорке свой дурной нрав продемонстрировал российский теннисист Дмитрий Медведев.

В третьем круге в матче против Фелисиано Лопеса Медведев, проиграв гейм на своей подаче, разозлился, вырвал у болбоя полотенце и выбросил его.

Медведев тут же получил предупреждение за неспортивное поведение и назвал в ответ рефери "чудилой", кинув в его сторону раетку.

За такое поведение зрители стали освистывать российского теннисиста. И на это у Медведева нашелся ответ - средний палец в адрес трибун.

В конце концов Медведев одержал победу над Лопесом, после под оглушительный свист зрителей с иронией обратился к ним: "Спасибо вам всем – ваша энергия принесла мне победу. Если бы не вы, я бы не выиграл. Когда вы ляжете спать, я хочу, чтобы вы знали: я выиграл из-за вас! Чем больше вы так делаете, тем больше я буду для вас побеждать!"
