Зазначається, що дружнє до Трампа ЗМІ яке веде розслідування про діяльність Burisma намагалося запросити низку українських чиновників для поїздки в Сполучені Штати, включаючи Олександра Онищенка.

"Я можу підтвердити, що One America News Network дійсно намагалася отримати ряд віз для колишніх українських чиновників для поїздки в Сполучені Штати, включаючи Олександра Онищенка... One America News Network зробила запит до затримання Онищенко. На сьогоднішній день розслідування One America News обійшлося в 100 000 доларів", - розповів президент мережі ОАNN Чарльз Херрінг.

За словами Херрінга, його мережа "в даний час шукає візи" для кількох інших колишніх українських чиновників, але не для Онищенко.

Нагадаємо, німецькі правоохоронці 29 листопада за запитом НАБУ та САП затримали Олександра Онищенка в місті Аахені.
