На московской акции «Бессмертный полк», посвященной участникам Великой Отечественной войны, пронесли плакат Лаврентия Берии. Фотография с акции, на которой запечатлен портрет одного из организаторов сталинских репрессий, появился в фейсбуке департамента культуры Москвы, однако позднее снимок удалили,сообщает Сноб.

На фотографии изображены лидер клуба байкеров «Ночные волки» Александр «Хирург» Залдостанов и глава департамента культуры Москвы Александр Кибовский. Позади них идет человек, который несет плакат с подписью «Берия Лаврентий Павлович». Лица участника акции с портретом Берии не видно.

Другое фото, на котором видно плакат с Берией, на странице «ВКонтакте» опубликовал представителя Молодежного правительства Оренбургской области Андрей Семенов, который сфотографировался рядом с Хирургом.

Пользователи сети осудили участника акции «Бессмертный полк», который вышел на нее с плакатом Берии. «Не верю! Такую идею испохабить...» — написал в твиттере телеведущий Андрей Малахов. «В департаменте рассудили справедливо: Берия тоже чей-то дед», — пошутилоппозиционер Алексей Навальный. «Вот и Лаврентий Павлович пал на войне. Не дожил дед Берия до спасиба-за-Победу», — добавил политолог Глеб Павловский.

Акцию «Бессмертный полк» проводят с 2012 года. Ее участники выходят на улицы с плакатами родственников, которые воевали против фашистской Германии. В 2015 году в марше участвовал президент России Владимир Путин.
