Ведущий прогноза погоды на американском телеканале WOWK / 13 News Брайн Хьюз (Bryan Hughes) во время прямого эфира испугался большого паука, который сидел на одной из камер. Увидев насекомое, Хьюз закричал, а затем на несколько секунд пропал из кадра.

Вернувшись, он посмеялся над инцидентом и сказал, что «эту штуку» придется убить.

В конце апреля во время прогноза погоды в эфире американского телеканала KCCI 8 на экране появилось уведомление об обновлении операционной системы Windows. Ведущая не растерялась: увидев уведомление, она договорила до конца начатую фразу, а затем пошутила.
