Американский телеканал NBC News подвергли жесткой критике из-за неправильной подачи новости о смерти сенатора-республиканца Джона Маккейна.

Как сообщает PRпортал со ссылкой на РИА Новости, сначала на телеканале вышел выпуск новостей, где диктор сообщил о смерти сенатора, но сразу после новостного блока телеканал показал программу, которая шла до срочного выпуска новостей. Речь идёт о шоу талантов. Сразу после известия о смерти сенатора телеканал показал двух полуобнаженных мужчин в масках дельфинов, которые танцевали с насосами в руках. Американцы отмечают, что между этим номером и выпуском новостей не было ни рекламной паузы, ни затемнения экрана.

В соцсетях пользователи критикуют телеканал за такой вопиющий поступок. Многие американцы написали о том, что на телеканале даже не подумали о том, что такие номера нельзя показывать после срочных новостей о смерти выдающихся людей. Многие пользователи также отметили, что большинство телеканалов после срочного выпуска новостей всегда показывает рекламу, и лишь потом переходит на показ развлекательных программ.
