З проблемою зіткнулися користувачі енергетичної компанії Toronto Hydro One. Саме на її станцію вдерся єнот. За даними видання, без світла залишилося майже 7 тисяч людей.
“Єнот вступив у контакт з обладнанням на станції у центрі міста, що спричинило відключення електрики в деяких частинах міста. Нині ми працюємо з обладнанням”, – заявили представники Toronto Hydro One у соцмережі X.
На усунення несправностей знадобилось близько 2,5 години. У пожежній службі Торонто повідомили, що бригадам довелося визволяти людей з ліфтів, що зупинилися в семи будинках. За даними видання, через інцидент ніхто не постраждав. А от чи вдалося знайти винуватця блекауту, не уточнюється.
