Пресс-секретарь Белого дома Шон Спайсер обвинил журналистов из пула Белого дома в желании стать YouTube-звездами благодаря смешным вопросам. Об этом он рассказал в интервью изданию Lifezette.

«Они задают какой-нибудь глупый вопрос, который до них задавали уже восемь раз», — отметил Спайсер.

Представитель администрации признался, что чувствует злобу журналистов по отношению к себе. Это выражается в том, что представители СМИ не хотят слушать о последних новостях и успехах президента США Дональда Трампа согласно повестке, а лишь желают влезть в кадр.

Об этом пресс-секретарь поведал в ответ на жалобы некоторых репортеров о том, что официальные пресс-брифинги Белого дома стали короче. Журналисты сетуют на то, что ответов «за камерой» стало в разы больше. Спайсер, в свою очередь, заметил, что по сравнению с выступлением представителей прошлых администраций ничего не изменилось.

В мае газета The Washington Post сообщила о том, что Трамп и его команда рассматривают возможность создания штаба в ответ на непрекращающиеся критику и обвинения в якобы связях с Россией. В частности, источники издания говорили о том, что в планах команды — снизить значимость выступлений Спайсера, сократив число брифингов в Белом доме для журналистов.
