На полках супермаркетов Великобритании появилась ограниченная партия белых жевательных конфет Skittles. Оригинальный маркетинговый ход объясняется будущим парадом Pride.

Поддержать парад смогут и любители Skittles, с каждой проданной упаковки два пенни будут перечисляться на инициативы ЛГБТ-сообщества.

Pride–парад проходит каждый год в июне в некоторых западных странах в рамках месяца поддержки ЛГБТ-сообщества. Mars решила стать частью инициативы и выпустила белые драже Skittles в чёрно-белой упаковке. Слоган акции Skittles гласит: “Во время прайд-парада только одна радуга имеет значение. В поддержку мы отказались от своей радуги...” Таким образом, обычно разноцветные конфеты стали обесцвечены.

Водочный бренд отметил долговременную поддержку прав ЛГБТ роликом от Bartle Bogle Hegarty. По словам компании, хотя видео было выпущено во время прайд-парада в Лондоне, тема намного шире, чем принятие ЛГБТ. «Мы хотели воплотить в жизнь одну из главных ценностей нашей компании: каждый должен любить того, кого хочет, - прокомментировала директор по коммуникациям Absolut. В наших маркетинговых кампаниях мы всегда поддерживали разнообразие – право людей выражать себя. И делали это с помощью коллабораций с творческими людьми». Бренд также запустил новую коммуникационную платформу Create a better tomorrow tonight.
