После объявления о разработке некоторых основных функций, таких как групповые опросы и WhatsApp Premium, WhatsApp наконец-то работает над возможностью редактировать сообщения для предстоящего обновления бета-версии WhatsApp для Android, iOS и компьютера.

Эту у WhatsApp функцию анонсировали еще в 2017 году. 

Мессенджер, вероятго, не будет отображать историю редактирования. То есть, нельзя будет проверить предыдущие версии отредактированных сообщений. 

Новую опцию добавят к всплывающему меню, которое вытекает при зажатии сообщения.
