Уже в это воскресенье, 24 сентября, немцы голосуют за новый парламент -  предвыборная кампания на финишной прямой.  Главных претендентов на кресло канцлера два – Ангела Меркель и бывший председатель Европарламента Мартин Шульц.

Три срока есть, и хочет пойти на четвертый – Ангела Меркель активно выступает перед избирателями. Главный оппонент Меркель – социал-демократ Мартин Шульц. В немецкую политику он вернулся после пяти лет работы в Европарламенте. Его предвыборные обещание – развитие экономики и новые рабочие места.

Но, по последним соцопросам, несмотря на всю критику, Меркель – в лидерах. Для Украины с этими выборами мало что изменится, говорит политолог Аманда Поул, отмечая, что оба лидера гонки поддерживают Киев.

Эти выборы станут самыми дорогими за историю Германии – они обойдутся казне 92 миллиона евро.
