З 00:00 суботи в Україні настав так званий "день тиші" перед довиборами до Верховної Ради, які відбудуться 17 липня.

Відповідна норма міститься в ч.2 ст. 54 Закону України "Про місцеві вибори".

Це означає заборону будь-якої агітації і політичної реклами суб'єктів виборчого процесу.

Також до закінчення голосування забороняється публікація результатів опитування громадської думки щодо виборів.

Довибори в Веховну Раду пройдуть в семи областях України: Волинській, Дніпропетровській, Івано-Франківській, Луганській, Полтавській, Херсонській та Чернігівській.
