80% власників українських медіа приховують дані про себе, реєструючи ЗМІ на підставних осіб. Про це сьогодні, 20 серпня, йшлося на круглому столі "Впровадження прозорості медіа-власності: львівські реалії", який провів Інститут масової інформації (ІМІ) у Львові.

За словами експертів ІМІ, дані 80% власників медіа залишаються не розкритими, а 85% українських телеглядачів не знають, кому належить той чи інший телеканал.

"На сьогодні в сфері прозорості не відбулося практично нічого. За півтора року ми так і не домоглися того, щоб почались якісь зрушення у цій сфері. Єдине, що вдалося зробити – в першому читанні Верховною Радою було прийнято законопроект №1831, який, власне, стосується прозорості медіавласності", – розповіла виконавчий директор ІМІ Оксана Романюк.

Також представники ІМІ наголосили, що прийнятий 16 червня 2015 року Верховною Радою закон, що передбачає медіареформу, яка дасть змогу громадянам розпізнати заангажовану інформацію, зменшить вплив власника на медіа та створить якісний інформаційний простір для українців.
