Тело 55-летнего журналиста деловой газеты Wall Street Journal, пишущего об энергетике, Дэйвида Бёрда, пропавшего год назад, было обнаружено в реке Пассейик в штате Нью-Джерси.

Два человека, плававшие на каноэ, обнаружили красную куртку, которая принадлежала пропавшему Бёрду. Позже полиция обнаружила тело, которое было идентифицировано благодаря данным, оставшимся у зубного врача пропавшего журналиста,пишет Новое Время

По словам родни Бёрда, он помог семье снять с дома рождественские украшения, вышел из дома на прогулку в парк и не вернулся. Поисками пропавшего журналиста занимались правоохранители, семья, друзья, соседи и чужие люди.

Прокуратура сообщила, что тело было обнаружено в полутора милях от дома Бёрда. Сейчас полиция проводит расследование возможных причин гибели журналиста.
