У Румунії в неділю, 11 грудня, проходять парламентські вибори, у яких беруть участь 11 партій і рухів

Головними суперниками є Соціал-демократична партія та пропрезидентська Націонал-ліберальна партія, передає ВВС.

Опитування громадської думки показують, що у соціал-демократів, які перемогли на минулих виборах, є реальна можливість здобути перемогу і сформувати уряд.

Румунський парламент складається з двох палат і обирається на чотири роки.

Зараз при владі в країні перебуває технократичний уряд, який було сформовано в 2015 році після відходу у відставку прем'єр-міністра Віктора Понти і його кабінету. Понта змушений був залишити свій пост на тлі масових протестів після пожежі в нічному клубі в Бухаресті, де загинуло 64 людини.
