Сегодня в Петрозаводске сотрудники Центра по противодействию экстремизму МВД Карелии задержали известного публициста, автора «Нового Региона» Вадима Штепу. Он успел сообщить, что его собираются везти в Петрозаводский городской суд. Штепу обвиняют в распространении нацистской символики, сообщается на сайте издания.

Якобы такие снимки были опубликованы на его странице в «Фейсбуке». «Я не занимался никакой пропагандой нацизма, обвинение совершенно абсурдно», – заявил публицист по телефону онлайн-журналу «Черника».

Сейчас Штепа находится в центре «Э» в ожидании судебного заседания, которое назначено на 13.20. Его страницы в «Фейсбуке» и «ВКонтакте» удалены. Отметим, что 3 ноября нынешнего года городской суд Петрозаводска уже признавал экстремистскими несколько фотографий, которые Вадим Штепа опубликовал на своей странице в социальной сети «ВКонтакте» и приговорил его к штрафу в 1 тысячу рублей. Тогда поводом для преследования стала публикация фотографии визитки Дмитрия Яроша и флага «Правого сектора», а также символа финской армии хакаристи.
