Министерство юстиции России внесло в список иностранных агентов «Голос Америки» и «Радио Свобода». Помимо этого в список попали семь проектов «Радио Свобода»: телеканал «Настоящее время», Татаро-башкирская служба «Радио Свобода», «Сибирь.Реалии», «Idel.Реалии», «Фактограф», «Кавказ.Реалии» и «Крым.Реалии».
По принятому в ноябре закону эти СМИ обязаны будут отчитываться перед Минюстом о своей деятельности, а также указывать в своей продукции, что они — иностранные агенты. Ведомство пока не представило описание того, как должна выглядеть такая маркировка.
Глава временной комиссии Совета Федерации по защите госсуверенитета Андрей Климов заявил, что пока список расширяться не будет. «Наши меры были абсолютно зеркальными в ответ на притеснение российских СМИ в США, и если ничего нового с той стороны здесь не произойдет, у нас нет оснований расширять этот список», — заметил сенатор.
