Оппозиция в парламенте Южной Кореи установила мировой рекорд по обсуждению законопроекта, произнося с трибуны речи в течение 192 часов.

Представители Демократической партии Тобуро, преднамеренно затягивая принятие закона о противодействии терроризму, который, по их мнению, ограничивает личные свободы граждан и дает полномочия спецслужбам нарушать тайну переписки, сменяли друг друга на трибуне парламента, выступая по несколько часов каждый.

Некоторые из них, не зная что говорить, пели, а один депутат даже зачитал главы из романа Джорджа Оруэлла "1984".

Предыдущий мировой рекорд по затягиванию обсуждения был установлен канадскими парламентариями в 2011 году. Тогда они затягивали принятия законопроекта 57 часов.
