У поширеній прес-службою "Народного фронту" заяві йдеться, що політсила з повагою ставиться до рішення їхнього колеги Миколи Мартиненка про відмову від повноважень й всіляко підтримує його.
 

Вперше в Україні парламентар добровільно відмовляється від повноважень для того, щоб припинити політичні інсинуації, наголосили в НФ.

"На інформаційну кампанію проти Миколи Мартиненка було витрачено 10 мільйонів доларів. Вважаємо, що ініціатори цієї інформаційної кампанії не так прагнули завдати репутаційної шкоди нашому колезі, як бажали використати псевдодокази для дискредитації української влади, уряду і України. У нас немає жодного сумніву, що історія з безпідставними закидами на адресу Мартиненка є лише одним з елементів масштабної інформаційної кампанії проти України, спрямованої на позбавлення нашої держави міжнародної підтримки й розхитування ситуації всередині країни", - йдеться у заяві партії.  

Крім того, в НФ упевнені, що Микола Мартиненко відстоїть свою репутацію й доведе безпідставність закидів на його адресу.

"Його вчинок формує новітню європейську практику в українській політиці. Ініціативне рішення Мартиненка ще раз свідчить, що разом з ним ми недаремно відстоювали українську гідність на Євромайдані", - зазначається у повідомленні.
