Журналіст Олександр Лоренс знайшов у мережі групу сайтів, на якій працюють кремлівські боти, та виокремив їхнього керівника.

Про це йдеться в його дослідженні для Globalvoicesonline.

Вихідною точкою його дослідження став сайт "ВШтабе.рф", на якому збирають демотиватори та фотожаби яскраво антиукраїнського та антиамериканського змісту.

За допомогою відкритих інструментів Google Analytics Лоренс з'ясував, що цей сайт пов'язаний з цілою мережею інших сайтів, у яких спільни розробники та адміністратори.

В цю мережу входять як просто прокремлівські сайти, так і сайти типу Еmaidan.com.ua, які маскуються під українську журналістику.

Продовживши дослідження, журналіст з'ясував, що більшість із цих сайтів та ще одна велика група ресурсів зв'язані з однією електронною адресою - terder.n@gmail.com.

Як вдалось з'ясувати, ця електронка належить росіянину Нікіті Подгорному.

Показово, що прізвище Подгорного виникало в центрі скандалу, коли  воно засвітилось у пресі після витоку із кремлівської "фабрики тролів" Агентство інтернет–досліджень, де Подгорний значився як один із керівників підрозділу.
