У Палати представників Конгресу США хочуть розслідувати, чи фінансує Росія "зелені" кампанії проти технології гідророзривів для видобутку сланцевого газу

Про це повідомляє видання Politico.

Видання пише, Кремль вже роками звинувачують у тому, що він намагається відмовити країни Європи від власних розробок природного газу, аби не створювати альтернативу для російського палива.

Таким чином очільник Комітету з науки Палати представників Ламар Сміт і конгресмен-республіканець Ренді Вебер попросили керівника Мінфіну США Стівена Мнучіна розслідувати, чи фінансує Росія "зелені" кампанії проти технології гідророзривів. Зазначається, що саме ця технологія допомогає США обігнати Росію за видобутком газу.

Зокрема, у доповіді політиків йдеться про те, що саме Москва спрямовує на сектор викопного палива жорстку критику.

Понад те, у доповіді також нагадали у про електронне листування Хілларі Клінтон 2016, викрадене хакерами. У ньому йшлося про те, що вона зіткнулася з фейковими екологічними групами, які виступають проти газопроводів і гідророзривів.
