Таджикские интернет-провайдеры восстановили доступ к нескольким социальным сетям, новостным ресурсам и информагентствам, передает агентство Asia Plus со ссылкой на пользователей. Представители компаний подтвердили это Интерфаксу.

Провайдеры не исключили, что это сделано в связи с началом в Душанбе международной конференции «Вода для жизни», на которую прибыли 1,5 тыс. представителей из 99 стран и Генеральный секретарь ООН Пан Ги Мун, сообщает Интерфакс.

Руководитель одной из компаний на условиях анонимности сообщил агентству, что накануне провайдеры получили такое распоряжение.

В конце мая в Таджикистане по устному распоряжению службы связи были заблокированы сайты, среди которых социальные сети «ВКонтакте», «Одноклассники» и информационное агентство Asia Plus.

Как считает глава ассоциации интернет-провайдеров страны Асомиддин Атоев, блокировка произошла после новости о вступлении беглого экс-командира ОМОН МВД республики Гулмурода Халимова в ряды «Исламского государства» (Россия признала организацию террористической). Видеообращение Халимова появилось в YouTube, который также был заблокирован.
