Лидер «Аль-Каиды», возглавляющий группу террористов в Йемене, заявил, что под его руководством происходила организация терактов. По его словам, именно отделение в Йемене занималось финансированием операции и разработкой плана нападения.

На данный момент службы по борьбе с терроризмом не располагают информацией, что братья Куаши связывались с представителями террористической группы в Йемене в последние месяцы. однако источники заявили, что, получив крупную денежную сумму три года назад, братья могли совершить нападение без дополнительного финансирования.

«Пока мы не нашли доказательств, что братья Куаши недавно разговаривали с членами организации «Аль-Каида» в Йемене, но это может измениться», — заявили источники в спецслужбах.

Ранее лидер «Аль-Каиды» в Йемене взял на себя ответственность за теракты в Париже. Правительство Йемена уже начало расследование о причастности «Аль-Каиды» к терактам во Франции, в результате которых за три дня погибли 17 человек.
